Join us for a special Teen Broadway Our Way production- the first of its kind. This event gives voices to local teens as they examine the effects of gun violence in schools and the ways in which it impacts their lives everyday through a collage of art forms including: theatrical productions, music, visual art, and multimedia.

FEATURING PERFORMANCES OF: I Was There Written by: Sam Guzman Synopsis: Students recall their experiences during a school shooting and work to understand their feelings in the emotional aftermath.

Synopsis: In a dark classroom, eight students sit in an “official lockdown,” not knowing if it’s just a drill or an actual emergency. When a hysterical younger girl bolts from the room and the teacher follows, the remaining students are left alone to decide if it’s safer to stay or run.
